Catnip Overdose

I just had to share this photo of my cat Willy in this pose letting it all hang out. He has the run of the house as you can see. He will actually sit like that for quite some time while the tv is on. I think he feels he is a real person and not a cat sometimes.
This photo shows he had a little to much catnip the night before. What a life sometimes I wish I was a cat.
A friend sent me this great picture looks like a hitchhiker I don't know how this was done but it sure looks funny.

Mild Winter

This winter has been very strange so far, here it is near the end of January and still no snow to speak of. Don't get me wrong I am not complaining I would prefer every winter to be like this one. I can't help but feel we will pay for all this somehow real soon, hope I am wrong.
I read a little on Greenhouse effect/ Global warming and how it has something or some feel everything to do with the change in the weather pattern throughout the world. It is amazing what some of the theory's are on this. The one that gives some of the best information is by Al Gore you can check it out on the link I set up at the top of this post click on the Title Mild Winter. There are so many that are for and against this subject and just what to do about it I find it hard to understand who is right and who is wrong? The fact is something must be done about this now or we will regret it.
So far this winter we may have gotten 1 inch of the white stuff

I want to start this first post of the year 2007 with the photo above. It is the city hall in my hometown of Waltham Ma just before they took the decorations down and put them away till next year. For anyone who may be interested in a bit of history. Waltham was Founded in 1636, incorporated into a town in 1738 and then into a city in 1884. Historically Waltham is probably best known as the home of the Waltham Watch Factory, a pioneer company of the Industrial Revolution. Today the city is the home to two major institutions of higher learning, Bentley College and Brandeis University. Also if you happen to be a basketball fan the Boston Celtics have their practice sessions at Brandeis University. For much more information about Waltham just click on the Title Hometown at the top of the page posting. This is a really good photo I got from a friend in a email It is a sunset from the north pole.
Thought this photo was a good enough to show.
