Martha's Vineyard

Martha's Vineyard is a 100 sq.mile island and the only way to get there is by plane or by boat. Most visitors in Hyannis take the Hi-Line Ferry out of Hyannis harbor or they can choose to fly using Cape Air from the Cape Cod airport . For visitors in the Falmouth area you can take the ferry from Falmouth. I perfer taking the ferry myself because it is a lot of fun and the site of the land from the water is nice to see. You have two choices of ferry's the photo on the right is the fast ferry and it only takes 55 mins. from time of departure to arrival. The photo on the bottom left is the regular ferry and it takes about 1hr. 45mins. I have the schedules for times of departure and arrival along with a lot more information for anyone who may want to know more, all you have to do is click on the page title --> Martha's Vineyard located on the top of the page and the Hi-Line Ferry schedule will come up. When you do get to the island you can check out all the shops and resturants. If you have time to see some really good sites take the tour bus to the other side of the island to a must see spot called Gay Head. The photo on the top is just a small part of the beauty and another part is you being there to share it. If you can only go to the island for a day trip it is best to leave early so you can make it an all day affair that way you can get to see as much as you can. I really think everyone will enjoy the experience.
